PCI Men's Golf Association Minutes
December 12, 2011 MGA Meeting
Meeting called to order at 5:10
Treasurer report
Balance in the checking account is $1200.00
Old Business
The Toys for Tots tournament had a total of 72 players participate in this year’s event. Three extra large boxes of toys and a cash donation of $425 were presented to the Marines by Arnold Scarborough and Mike Burke.
Bridge Repair
The MGA membership recognized Arnold Scarborough, Buddy Scarborough and Donald Tillman for the fabrication and installation of the new bridge at the entrance to Hole 16 tee box. This bridge is fabrication with steel beams and treated material which should last for several years.
Inter Club matches
An event is being planned for March 18th with the Windance Country Club. Cost will be green fess plus $10.00 for prizes. Mike Burke is trying to schedule two or three additional matches throughout this year with other clubs.
New Business
A motion was passed to make a donation $500.00 to the Pass Christian Isles Employee Christmas fund
The next tournament is scheduled for Saturday, December 17th at 9:30. A Dirty Santa party and food is schedule for after the event
Membership remarks
Special recognition was given to Mac McCarty ( Our 2012 Grand Marshall for the Italian Open). Congratulation was bestowed by all MGA members present at the meeting
